St. Joseph’s higher secondary school follows Kerala’s Malayalam medium syllabus which leads to SSLC certification. It fundamentally includes five years of primary schooling, followed by another five years of secondary schooling. The SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) will be obtained by a student at the end of term of study in the secondary school.
Once SSLC certificate is obtained, the student is deemed to have completed his basic schooling or basic education and the student can pursue further education on a course based on the specialization their choosing (a.k.a. industrial training) or secondary education (known as +2) after which a student may enter a university for undergraduate studies.
